Weekly Art GroupsDid you know that there are a number of groups who meet on a weekly basis at the Sea Scout Hall in Yarralumla and that there is also a group which meets at the Ngunnawal Community Centre?It would be great to also have a group in Tuggeranong. Is there anyone interested in co-ordinating such a group? These are very informal groups, new members are welcome, and there is absolutely no obligation to attend every week. Contact the co-ordinator regarding start dates and costs as this does vary according to whether or not there is a tutor and/or model etc. (The Sea Scout Hall is right on the lake on Alexandrina Drive, Yarralumla, opposite the intersection with Novar St) Ngunnawal GroupMeets on Monday at the Ngunnawal Community Centre. This is an informal group, working from a variety of subjects, and all levels and media are welcome. In good weather we also have the opportunity for some “en plein air “ sketching.
